How to Join, Rules, and Affiliates

:bulletred: We will NOT accept pieces that talk about suicide, or planning your own suicide. This is detrimental to our members.

:bulletred: We will NOT accept graphic pieces. In other words, mentions (or images) of blood, wrist-cutting, scars from self-injury, and the like.

:bulletred: If your piece talks about struggles with eating disorders, please do not be graphic about your descriptions. I'd prefer a more generalized approach, and please avoid using the word "fat". That word is highly negative and triggering for eating disorder sufferers. Also, we will NOT accept images of emaciated (boney, very skinny and unhealthy) bodies.

:bulletred: If you use profanity, please attach a Mature Content Filter.

:bulletred: You may submit up to 5 deviations per day. Please, do not submit your entire gallery. Submit only your best works.

:bulletred: Please, submit your artwork to the correct gallery folder. (A list of gallery folders is shown below.)

Also, NO NUDITY!!!

Do not submit artwork such as: sketches or unfinished drawings and paintings; grainy or unclear photographs, literature with misspellings or slang abbreviations (like lol, wtf, omg, etc.), and stamps that lack transparency. These will be declined.

:spotlight-right: Our main focus here is anxiety disorders, so naturally, your art that you submit here should contain elements of anxiety. However, we do have a set of gallery folders in which you can submit positive outlooks on anxiety, as well as general artwork such as: photographs or stamps that invoke calm and positive feelings in anxiety sufferers. :spotlight-left:

If your deviation is denied, a staff member will let you know the reason.

It seems like for a little while submissions weren't going through.  Even my own didn't show up, so I'm guessing a lot of people may have tried to submit without success.  As of now, it looks to be working again.  So if you have something to submit or re-submit, I think we're up and running.

And as I mentioned in the previous journal, I'm the only admin around at this point, but the only access I have is to accept or decline (and write journal entries).  Since it's just me, I may not be able to keep up with all the submissions, but I'll do my best.  Everything will be accepted unless you submit to the "Featured" or "Favorites" folders.  I'm reserving those for now, so please don't submit anything there.

I have panic attacks sometimes...I get this feeling that something bad is going to happen all the time and I can't explain it! Usually during the panic attacks I have HUGE urges to start crying or screaming (if gets to that point).  I usually have a heavy feeling in my chest and get nightmares.  I keep asking myself why its happening and my head makes up reasons like fear of people leaving for instance because of this happening.  I don't know if I have a disorder...and I am scared to go to the doctor for this because I know they will just give perscriptions.  And I don't want any because I am scared they will mess me up even more.
What should I do?

I have Panic Disorder... these seem like a few symptoms. I suggest going to a therapist to get diagnosed and let him/her help you! It helps a LOT, trust me.
